I was educated in the University of Wisconsin system at Stout and River Falls, then attended graduate school at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, earning my MFA in Printmaking and Book Arts. I endeavored to remain a printmaker. However with the reality of paying back graduate school loans and house payments, in grief and a modicum of peace, gave it up.

I turned to computer generated book design and production to make a living. Then used a camera and watercolors to satisfy my desire to create. More recently I've been obsessed with needle felting.
